I was always stressed. I was easily overwhelmed by all the uncertainties and demands of life. I felt dominated by my worries & negative thoughts, and I never felt good enough in my relationships.
I got sick a lot. I was exhausted, I had frequent headaches, and nothing that I ate seemed right for my body. Life was becoming a constant struggle.
I was worried, nervous, angry, and insecure. I tried therapy and medication, but they felt incomplete. So, I spent years learning to break free from my anxiety naturally so I could stop taking anxiety medication and move beyond just surviving through my day to day life. I studied yoga, mindfulness, meditation, Ayurveda, habit change, and mindset, and I became an experienced yoga teacher and a clinical health coach.
Over the last 25 years of teaching yoga and coaching others, I've heard many examples of how stress & anxiety are impacting people's lives:
